To answer my own question, no, it wasn't, given that the
Linux Kernel Driver DataBase data I referred you to says


defined in security/Kconfig.hardening
found in Linux kernels: 5.2, 5.3-rc+HEAD

and

defined in arch/Kconfig
found in Linux kernels: 4.11–4.18


whereas 2011's HLFS had a Linux 2.6.32 kernel.
