I am planning on committing Pending LFS-10.0-rc1 tomorrow. There are a few changes to the current development system (linux-5.8.1, iproute2-5.8.0, libpipeline-1.5.3, and man-pages-5.08) but these really shouldn't affect what is in the current development book much. There is a possibility that one or more new LFS package versions will be committed today and I will add those also.

At -rc1 release, we will go into package freeze for LFS and only really major updates to LFS will be considered.

We will also at the same time start the building/testing process for BLFS. There we test the book packages against the LFS release candidate and tag each package as we go.

New package versions can be updated in BLFS if they are not yet tagged, but we will freeze any tagged versions.

Target date for LFS/BLFS 10.0 is September 1st.
