Ok, now, when i compiling perl-5.8.4, i have following error:
It should be:
./configure.gnu --prefix=/tools -Dstatic_ext='IO Fcntl POSIX'
Make sure you type that bit in quotes properly - they're all letters, no numbers or punctuation in there at all (aside from the obvious spaces).
