Has anyone had any success with getting direct rendering to work with the ATI Drivers and Xorg 6.8.2. I've gotten it to work previously in Gentoo, but now that I'm using LFS I can't seem to get it to use direct rendering. I've tried several things, but nothing gets direct rendering working. My steps were just rpm->tar.gz then extract to / and go into the build_mod directory and sh make.sh and then cd .. and sh make_install.sh. The driver loads fine and everything.

May 27 13:21:39 localhost kernel: [fglrx] Internal AGP support requested, but kernel AGP support active.
May 27 13:21:39 localhost kernel: [fglrx] Have to use kernel AGP support to avoid conflicts.
I won't post my xorg.conf unless it's needed since it was generated with fglrxconfig with mainly the defaults.
