 If you're following version 6.0 of the book, you'd better use the
versions of the packages that are listed in that edition of the book.

 If you've got the 20050129 version of the book, it _might_ be ok to
follow that, but like any other random date you might hit problems.
For an unstable or development version, that's a bit old!  Package
versions get upgraded in the book, sometimes people hit problems and the
instructions get changed later.

"unstable" versions of the book (in other words, anything not released,
with the possible exception of 6.1-testing or 6.1-prerelease) are
intended for the experienced LFS user.
