You should follow the > book and compile the stuff in tools as the user lfs. I was following the LFS 6.1 building LFS and maintaining a Notes taking down all steps performed. The PC, Host, was frequently turning on and off because I was not allowed leaving it switched on when I was away. Such practice may increase mistake committed. B.R.
