FC4 and other gcc-4.x host systems are currently not supported and will
cause problems with the current build. Please try using a slightly
older host (or the LFS LiveCD, perfect for building LFS
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/livecd) and also consider using the 6.1
version which was just released.
