Hi Srinath,

I had the same problems in one of my past attempts to compile LFS, of
course it could be your CDROM drive, but in my case it was due to dirt
accumulating on the disc surface, you know... scratchs are kinda lethal
for a LFS LiveCD, so... have you tried to burn a new LFS LiveCD?
