I am in progress of writing a "How to build LFS from the Live CD" 
hint, but I have only gotten through testing up to chapter 6, so I do 
not want to publish it yet.  If you would like a "pre-release" of the 
hint I will email it to you.  I will release it generally in the next 
couple days.  In it are a couple of scripts that make re-booting the 
CD and entering the LFS build environment quite easy.
