I have noticed that with linux 2.6.11.12, after I do a 'make mrproper' (which removes any .config file that the might be there), and then 'make menuconfig', menuconfig has "remembered" the settings that I used to build the previous kernel. If .config has been deleted, where is menuconfig getting this information???
How can I restart menuconfig with the "default" config settings from the original tarball? (Without removing and un-tarring the source again.) - Joe -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
