Hello list, I'm in the process of building an LFS system a second time, this time paying more attention to detail. I was wondering why we give the Ncurses libraries execute permissions in LFS 6.1 (6.21): chmod 755 /usr/lib/*.5.4 I know in Debian the permissions are 644 and I think the same is true for Fedora.
