I have weird problem. I built a lfs system, everything
was fine, untill I finished and rebooted. Then I
noticed in the new system that bash wouldn't respond
to the lower case 'm'. It would work in a editor such
a nano. I reloaded my LFS livecd and attemted to
recomplile bash, ncurses, and or readline. I
discovered that the same 'm' problem would show up
when ever I chrooted into $LFS/tools or $LFS, that
didn't happen before the new system reboot. I tried
copying bash, ncurses, readline files and libraries
from the Livecd into the $LFS/tools directory. This
did nothing. Also tried differnt keymap configurations
of the $LFS/etc/sysconfig/console files. The 'm'
problem would persist whenever I chrooted into another
system. Any ideas?
Thanks
