Hi all, Just my experiences with compiling unzip-5.52 (blfs-cvsl-2005-11-20 on LFS-SVN-20051116, followed to the letter)
1) patch -Np1 -i ../unzip-5.52-fix_Makefile-1.patch FAILED at 878 (?) on inspecting the Makefile + ln -sf libunzip.so.0.4 libunzip.so already seemed to be applied. So is this patch necessary? 2) make prefix=/usr LOCAL_UNZIP=-DUSE_UNSHRINK linux_shlibz gave an error at the end (I forget which now; am still working with the old system) but libunzip.so.0 and libunzip.so.0.4 were built, and all tests passed (apart from the time difference.) So I think I have a working unzip, but am confused -- Peter -- If you are careful enough in life, nothing bad -- or good -- will ever happen to you. -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
