i recently finished my main installation. i used the lfs live cd as host and everything went smoothly. In fact so smoothly that i'm not quite ready to give up that environment just yet. I am attempting to install lynx so i can read the blfs book while actually running the system i just built, and one of the optional req's for lynx is exim http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/stable/server/mail.html#exim
now, the directions for exim require you to logout of root and log back in as a regular user that the directions tell you to create. my question is, how do you do that from the livecd environment? i know that i could just install lynx w/o the optional exim, and then logging in and out as root would be a lot simpler, but it is knowledge that i seeK. can anyone help me out? -- He felt that his whole life was some kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it. - Douglas Adams -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
