I want to further reduce size of my lfs system.

i have read this link:
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/downloads/files/small-lfs.txt

this says ,you can remove everything in /usr/share/ .Can i really do that?
i mean to say /usr/share contains directories like autoconf ,automake
and so on...

if i remove all of them then will it effect execution of autoconf ,automake etc?

Yes, it will affect them, but does you need them? If you really want to make a
small LFS, you probably shouldn't have installed autoconf, automake and several
other things. Your distro, your rules.
