Hello.

I've tried twice to build LFS 6.1.1, but cannot seem
to get past the /dev filesystem and other mounts in
the chroot environment. I've successfully built LFS
6.0 (the host for the LFS 6.1.1 build). All the
pre-chroot mounts are successful, using both the host
mount command and the newly built temporary mount
command.

Here's the error:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
none,
       missing codepage or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog -
try
       dmesg | tail or so

The machine (a Toshiba Satellite laptop) is running
kernel version 2.6.8.1.

I'd appreciate any clues on where to look to get this
resolved.

Thanks,
Dave
