imagine where to look at :-(
If the CD didn't boot, then something went wrong when you burned it or
when you downloaded it. Perhaps the iso image was corrupted (incomplete
download?) or there was a problem when you were burning it. Either way,
it has absolutely nothing to do with your host system.
