No, it's agreed. There's always lfs-chat if you're feeling chatty. Also our channels in IRC are a little bit more informal in nature. However, if you ask for support in IRC, be prepared to have your questions face similar sorts of scrutiny. People will help, but only after you have shown that you listening to their suggestions, reading the book to the best of your ability, and working to find answers yourself.
