Ok I'm not crazy, glibc did compile just fine, but now that I look the errors I got in my check for glibc that look exactly like this one with localedef. I'll collect all the program names and such... maybe theres a connection between them all. Some library perhaps is damaged? that would explain the chroot... heh... I'm slowly going nuts.
