Well, I didn't get very far (-;
Using the lfslivecd-x86_64-CRS051009-pre1.iso for a 64-bit build environment,
following LFS-6.1.1 book I failed at 5.3.1 Adjusting the toolchain.
binutils built and installed fine, but after running make -C ld clean
make -C ls LIB_PATH=/tools/lib fails. I didn't save the output but it was
something about the linker failing.
Since I've been playing with this most of the day, mainly getting the book and
sources that are missing from the CD, I'll leave it for another day. I was
just hoping someone might recognise this problem? I know there are a few
64-bit types here. So much for just running through the book with a 64-bit
host.
