hello, i'm hoping i can get some help with a compilation problem of gcc pass
1 in lfs 6.1
gcc configures but fails to compile. the as far as i can tell this is the
error:
/tools/i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld:/usr/lib/libc.so: file format not
recognized; treating as linker script
/tools/i686-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld:/usr/lib/libc.so:5: syntax error
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
the host system's toolchain is entirely made of higher versions than lsf 6.1
if anybody could sugest a solution i'd be most grateful
