What do you mean you redid the install? The install for perl or Autoconf?

I redid the install for perl and now autoconf works fine...
thanks... feel like an idiot sometimes.... i had to install modules...
which is why dump. (something ) was missing
.. finished building the lfs system.. all excited.. thanks for the help.
