run it without the -v Without any options it will default to the new
type (From Man Page)
Well, the LFS book says, it must be with "-v".
U also want to make sure that when you parttion you set it as a swap
parttion and not as type linux. In cfdisk its 83 for swap if im not
mistaken.
I guess you mean 82 (Linux swap/Solaris)? I had forgotten to set the type, and
it defaulted to 83 (Linux).
