Just checkout an older version and build it.
svn co svn://svn.linuxfromscratch.org/LFS/trunk/BOOK -r "{"2006-02-01"}"
or whatever date you want. Then enter the BOOK directory and type
`make lfs'. If you have all the tools you can build the HTML. Read the
Makefile to see where everything gets installed, etc.
