the whole process of (trying to) build LFS. ;-)
That's exactly the problem. You should *never* try automating the
process unless you understand everything that's going on and can
successfully build the system manually. If it's an error you can't
solve, that's a good reason NOT to script it, at least until you know
exactly what the error is.
