No doubt about it, a userland client will be better
for production use.
but if you need to use dhcp to get the box online to
download packages, then this is a very useful feature
and I'm glad that I have found out about it just for
that reason.

Currently I don't require dhcp at all, so I don't need
to use either, but knowing it's there if needed is
good. :)
