Within the last month, I did a LFS 6.2 installation with Slackware 11.0 as the "host system". I did it all one 19 or 20 day "chroot session". Compiling Perl gave me similar errors, and they were all related to a stray '0' (zero) character in what should have constituted a blank line. Look for '0' at the beginning of the line. "make" needs an ASCII "tab" character at the beginning of the lines of commands it should execute to create a given target. -- Bruce Ediger 720-932-1954 [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
