I am trying to remaster lfslivecd-x86-6.3-r2052 by following the
instructions from the latest HOWTO for 6.3. I download the files from
svn.linuxfromscratch.org/livecd/trunk/packages/initramfs
Next step is to:
Remove the "include $(ROOT)/scripts/functions" and
"cp initramfs_data.cpio.gz /boot/isolinux/initramfs_data.cpio.gz" lines
from the Makefile
there is not a line "cp initramfs_data.cpio.gz
/boot/isolinux/initramfs_data.cpio.gz" in the Makefile.
Running the next step:
For x86:
make compile-stage2 VERSION="x86-6.3-custom" LINKER=ld-linux.so.2
does not create a initramfs_data.cpio.gz file. What am I doing wrong? I
never had a problem with liveCD 6.2.
