Looks like $LFS wasn't >set when you ran those commands. umount $LFS/dev/shm, rm $LFS/dev/shm >and try again. Why do I want to umount $LFS/dev/shm ? Isnt that correct? Its mounted by "mount -vt tmpfs shm $LFS/dev/shm" Do you mean umount $LFS/dev/pts instead?
