I'm working through LFS 6.3. Host System: LFS LiveCD Version
x86-6.3-r2145 on i586 Hardware. I'm using the "Package User" Package
Management Method from the LFS Hints.

In Chapter 6.38, 'make install' of Groff-1.18.1.4 stops with the
following error:

install-info --info-dir=/usr/info /usr/info/groff
/usr/info/dir: Permission denied
make[2]: *** [install_data] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/groff/groff-1.18.1.4/doc'
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/groff/groff-1.18.1.4'
make[1]: *** [doc] Error 2
make: *** [install] Error 2

I do not understand since the '/usr/info/dir: Permission denied' part
was no problem with the other packages - it is always intercepted by the
more_control_helpers scripts.

In addition, there shouldn't be any problems with permissions, since I
even changed the /usr/info symlink to groff:groff owners, which points
to /usr/share/info that has root:install ownership. Or maybe
install-info isn't the problem?

Hints are much appreciated!
