Hi,

Earlier I had LFS 6.1.1 and with the help of profiles and sources, I was
able to build the system. Now, I just wanted to build LFS with the
kernel

2.6.23 and associated packages. But currently there are no profiles
defined with LFS 6.3. But before doing that, I have tried the following
to get

some idea.

I tried to use jhalfs utility to build the LFS system. But it throws
error saying "Looks like /mnt/lfs was not populated by a previous jhalfs
run". I

didnt get the error message as this is a fresh PC with fedora core 8
(kernel version 2.6.23.1-47) and i manually created a folder "lfs" under
"/mnt".

I am trying jhalfs utility for the first time and how it is looking for
the previous jhalfs run? Can anybody tell me what is the meaning of this
error

and how to get rid of it?

Best Regards,

Murali
