So it seems that CVS or the snapshot tarballs will be the new
distribution method for glibc.

I grabbed the latest snapshot from ftp://sources.redhat.com/pub/glibc
and then did a cvs update from the source tree, as described in the
README.snapshots file After this I compiled glibc as usual and everything
is fine.

But how will LFS handle this new distribution method? Will the CVS
tree at a certain time be packaged and used as the "official" glibc?
