No, LFS uses IPRoute2 by default. It is a much better tool, however you can add net-tools from BLFS if you absolutely cannot bring yourself to use /sbin/ip for everything. Take a look at the ipv4 script in /etc/sysconfig/network-devices/services directory for the common use examples.
