Thanks for the answer and point me out I asked the wrong list. I wasn't ignoring them on purpose though, sorry for the confusion here. Kind Regards,

You're asking on the wrong list - BLFS is for the packages which come after the basic system (server apps, or desktop). For the moment, LFS itself is resolutely x86 and 32-bit-only. I hesitate to point you to cross-lfs.org because you seem to be deliberately ignoring them, but grub is covered in the clfs multilib x86_64 book, and the pure64 version (x86_64-64, otherwise known as amd64 in some circles) uses lilo because grub needs 32-bit libraries. ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
