Hello all, This is my first post to the mailing list, so i apologize for any bad formatting.
I have experience using Windows and Linux, but not making kernels, custom builds, etc., but I wanted to try LFS out. After spending a while on regular LFS, i switched to using jhALFS. I finally made it to "make" on jhalfs and a few hours later the terminal was finished and it said "jhalfs exit" with no errors. But what I want to know is What else do i need to know to make this Operating System useable? Can I just boot it now? I haven't turned off the computer yet because I'm not sure what to do. Google has provided few results, just saying "Follow the book". Well the book is for regular LFS, and not for ALFS or jhALFS. If i need to do more, where do i pick up in the book and how do i continue without much trouble? Thanks in advance tehD3M0L1SH3R -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
