So either there is some problem with the book, or with certain tools with a specific version, or with a certain architecture. In the latter cases, I think this should be mentioned in the text somewhere. It is not interesting for me any more, I nearly have my CLFS build ready, but can discourage future users less savvy, than me. Bye, Szabolcs
