Hi, I'm trying to install LFS 6.5 on ASUS P5G41T-M LX motherboard. I installed first Slackware 12.2 and after started the installation of LFS on another partition. As I understand all things until the completation of Chapter 5 went right. I started Chapter 6 creating the directories, mounted the virtual kernel filesystem and hit the command chroot. After I did the task exposed in 6.5, 6.6, 6.7 and 6.8 I started the installation of glibc and, when I hit the command grep Error glibc-check-log I obtained the response make[2]: [/sources/glibc-build/posix/annexc.out] Error 1 (ignored) which, as I read, it a good response. After this step I created the file /etc/ld.so.conf and gave the the command make install which answered me Your new glibc installation seems to be ok After I created the directory for the locales and run the command for the generation of the first locale, with the unique difference that I introduced the further option -v.
