I haven't see a "pentium2-unknown-linux-gnu" before, a pentium2 CPU machine should be a "i686-unknown-linux-gnu" in my memory. I guess maybe the old lfslivecd hasn't recognized your KVM cpu? Try another lastest livecd (such as Ubuntu) or simply install a Linux into your KVM disk, and see if it is still a "pentium2-unknown-linux-gnu", if it isn't, maybe the problem is that old lfslivecd. I am a newbie to LFS and haven't ever used kvm to build a LFS(I am using Vmware Server 2). -- littlebat -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
