I tested it with another router and yes, it is the problem by the router.

The problem router works fine except for output messages. Also I realized
that the *quiet* option at boot is ineffective at preventing these outputs.
I think there may be something wrong with the kernel config.
I checked this with my ubuntu installation on the same netbook. The same
continues Up and Down messages appear in log files but nothing leaks into
the console even when I removed the boot quiet option.

Therefore use of this particular router in my LFS is associated with
intolerable console messages, although it is fine in my ubuntu. Do you think
I should change (or recompile) the kernel. it is 2.6.34
