Your are using version 6.3 of the LFS book that was included on the live cd. I recommend you use the current stable version 6.8 download: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/downloads/6.8/LFS-BOOK-6.8-HTML.tar.bz2 You should still be able to use the live cd as a build platform, but use the newer instructions and packages. -- Eric Plummer anadox...@gmail.com -- Messages in plain text, please, no HTML.
