I'm not sure if this is a bug with the book or with evince. With LFS
6.8 on an Ubuntu 10.04 host, when I copy/paste sometimes an extra CR is
inserted in the command. This is most noticeable in 6.9 Glibc when
setting up the locales; if you copy the whole block of commands, they
paste into the terminal as

mkdir -pv
localedef
localedef
localedef
localedef
:
:
:
:
/usr/lib/locale
-i cs_CZ -f UTF-8 cs_CZ.UTF-8
-i de_DE -f ISO-8859-1 de_DE
-i de_DE@euro -f ISO-8859-15 de_DE@euro
-i de_DE -f UTF-8 de_DE.UTF-8
:
:
:
:
etc.

This also happens elsewhere and seems to be where the authors have
tidied up the formatting so that things line up.

Does this happen with any other PDF readers, or is it just evince?
