You need to learn to read English. gcc-4.6.2-startfiles_fix-1.patch is

never mentioned in LFS7. It says to use
http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/patches/lfs/7.0/gcc-4.6.1-startfiles_fix-1.patch
^^^^^
You are mixing the 7.0 and development versions of the book.

I don't appreciate your condescending reply. What I did what download the 7.0
version of the manual. I printed that out. I also have been using the "Read
online" documentation. I used the wget-list from the online documentation to
download all of the software. I used the wget with the wget-list to download
all of the software and the patches.
