I don;t think so, ownership was set to:
drwxr-xr-x 10 lfs root 4096 Dec 4 21:00 tools/
I'll have to check the makeup of the default debian-live user used for the
beginning root-based steps...
Anyways, bonking and remaking is no big deal all things considered. I'll
take your advice. Thanks for the help.
