Yes, in grub.cfg you have root=/dev/sda4 (and the kernel boots, so it's
happy with /dev/sda) then the bootscripts choke because you
have /dev/hda in /etc/fstab.

sed -i 's#/dev/hda#/dev/sda#' /etc/fstab
