Greetings

I am trying to build gobject-introspection-1.34 (machine specs: clfs,64bit
amd64 gcc-4.6.3, kernel-3.5.5). It wont build.

The build ends like so

I tried the following:-
a) setting GIO_CFLAGS and GIO_LIBS as envars
b) enabling, disabling, ignoring -'tests' settings in the configure script
c) recompiling and re-installing python without pymalloc

all failed.

Advice/help will be appreciated.
More generally Is this program of any benefit to users of setups with
qt/kde? I am not planning to use gnome so advice on whether this program is
necesary would be appreciated also.

sincerely
luxInteg
