Hi guys,

I have a bit of confusion about Chapter 6 in the LFS book.
Should I make the preparations for the chroot and later the chrooting as
user 'lfs' or as user 'root'?

One part of my mind says lfs, because there was no explicit instruction
in the book to change to root.

But on the other hand, in the last part of Chapter 5, we changed the
ownership of $LFS/tools because user lfs "exists only on the host
system", so I suppose, from now on, I should use root.

So what's the correct way to do it?

Thanks in advance,
