Building LFS with rpm requires little to no effort. All one needs is the following packages zlib, nspr, nss, popt, readline, elfutils and rpm. You DO NOT have to rebuild a single package.

Well if you want to install everything with --nodeps then you don't have rebuild stuff, but then what's the point?
