Name is not important. Could be ifconfig.wlan0, ifconfig.wlp13s0. What matters is the correct interface name inside: IFACE=wlp13s0 One thing is that you can have the older names for the interfaces: ln -sfv /dev/null /etc/udev/rules.d/80-net-setup-link.rules Never used it, so I am not sure if you will need to edit ifconfig.eth0 and the udev rule by hand.
