Ken,

I ended upgrading to 3.15.6 just so I was current (I remember you saying
that you were always doing weird things with your PCs... I do all kinds of
weird stuff but kernel -rc releases are not one of them!). All of your
options worked except for CONFIG_FW_LOADER_USER_HELPER=y. It turned out I
had my firmware wrong. CONFIG_EXTRA_FIRMWARE was supposed to equal
"radeon/PALM_me.bin radeon/PALM_pfp.bin radeon/SUMO_rlc.bin
radeon/SUMO_uvd.vin rtlwifi/rtl18192cfw.bin". After I checked my options
against yours and went through two kernel compilations, I finally have my 2
penguins and the proper resolution in X! :-)

Now if only I could find out why my PC can't wake up from suspend... oh
well that is for a different time and a different thread.
