No, I didn't, but this is in the Stage 2 build, Chapter 6. The Stage 1 builds all went smoothly and were done with a package manager. That first error was in "check-DEJANU", so I can go back, pull out dejanu and recompile it in the Stage 1 if that would help. I can't continue until this Stage 2 compile of gcc checks out clean (enough). > In addition, why LFS-7.2 That's over two years old. LFS 7.6 (and > gcc-4.9.2) is current. As I said, I'm usually trailing along behind. ;) It's not all that far behind for me. There are several reasons. Once I build my LFS systems I like to USE them! The last, the host this time, was 6.6. It meets the host prereqs, and isn't a "long jump". There'll be BLFS to come, so I don't want the problems that easily come with stretching too far. Up until relatively recently I only had dialup access, so getting everything I'd need was a major issue. Now I can catch up easier. Even now, there'll still be the matter of time to do it all. I also like it when there's time for issues to turn up in the mailing list. I found nothing remotely similar to my problem, so it's probably me, but I can't find anything suggestive. I HAVE looked.
